Creative Assistant (Assistant Editor Focus)
Hi, I’m Matt Daniels, a filmmaker based in Langley, WA. I’m looking for a Creative Assistant to help with video editing and small business tasks on a contract basis.
1. Details
Pay: $30–$60/hour, depending on experience.
Hours: Flexible, part-time to start (15–30 hrs/week), with the potential for more.
Location: Ideally local to Langley, WA, but remote could work for the right person.
2. Responsibilities
Edit videos in Adobe Premiere (radio edits, b-roll highlights).
Assist with small business organization and coordination.
Occasionally help with personal assistant-like tasks or light hands-on projects (optional)
3. Who This Is For
This role is great for someone who:
Is organized and detail-oriented.
Knows their way around Adobe Premiere.
Is looking to learn new skills and gain experience in video production workflows.
(Bonus) Has some After Effects knowledge or enjoys occasional creative problem-solving.
